Timbalan Ketua Polis Kedah, Datuk Muhammad Azlee Abdullah berkata, pihaknya berharap orang ramai menjaga sensitiviti kerana dibimbangi boleh menjejaskan ketenteraman awam dan kehormanian masyarakat.“Jangan cetuskan provokasi dan apa jua tindakan yang diambil perlu berasaskan pada undang-undang sekali gus mengikut saluran yang sepatutnya,” katanya ketika ditemui di pejabatnya di Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Kedah di Alor Setar, hari ini.
Muhammad Azlee berkata, pihaknya tidak akan berkompromi untuk mengambil tindakan tegas terhadap mana-mana pihak yang didapati cuba mengganggu ketenteraman awam. Katanya, pihak polis juga mengharapkan kerjasama berterusan daripada penyokong parti politik dan orang ramai supaya tidak menimbulkan spekulasi.
