PETALING JAYA: Penggunaan ubat Ivermectin untuk merawat Covid-19 mencetuskan perang mulut antara beberapa ahli Parlimen pembangkang dengan Menteri Kesihatan, Datuk Seri Dr. Adham Baba.
Pertikaian itu timbul apabila Dr. Adham menjawab pertanyaan Mohamad Sabu berkenaan penggunaan ubat itu bagi merawat Covid-19 dengan beliau menjelaskan perkara itu bergantung kepada ujian klinikal yang sedang dilakukan. Namun jawapan itu tidak memuaskan beberapa ahli Parlimen pembangkang dengan menggesa Dr. Adham menggunakan budi bicaranya bagi membenarkan pengunaaan ubat tersebut.Dr. Adham kemudian memaklumkan pihak yang menggunakan Ivermectin perlu memohon kepada Bahagian Regulatori Farmasi Negara .
