Ketua Pesuruhjayanya Azam Baki berkata pegawai penyiasat mungkin memanggil Sanusi dalam minggu ini atau minggu depan untuk mengambil keterangannya di Ibu Pejabat SPRM. “Siasatan SPRM terhadap isu REE secara menyeluruh dari sudut tatakelola dan undang-undang yang digunakan dalam REE, selain melihat kepada sistem dan prosedur operasi standard ,” katanya menurut Utusan Malaysia selepas menghadiri Program Executive Talk bersama SPRM di Putrajaya.Beliau berkata, hasil siasatan diharapkan tidak hanya tertumpu kepada perlakuan jenayah, tetapi mengesan penyalahgunaan sistem dan SOP.
