BAITULMUQADDIS: Perdana Menteri Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu menagih bantuan Amerika Syarikat untuk menyalurkan bekalan peluru bagi memastikan kelangsungan serangan di Gaza.
“Saya bersedia menghadapi serangan secara peribadi dengan syarat Israel menerima peluru yang diperlukan daripada AS bagi peperangan ini,” katanya dalam kenyataan. “Komen-komen itu amat mengecewakan dan sudah tentu membuat kami marah, memandangkan sokongan yang telah kami berikan selama ini serta sokongan berterusan selepas ini.
Washington menyatakan hanya terdapat satu kiriman sebanyak 907 kilogram bom yang kini ditangguhkan penghantarannya atas kebimbangan ia akan digunakan di kawasan-kawasan yang padat dengan penduduk di Gaza.
