PUTRAJAYA: Inter-district travelling will not be allowed in Sabah beginning midnight Saturday (Oct 3), announces Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Ismail Sabri, however, said the restriction does not apply to those providing essential services.

“This exception includes those in the food supply and medical sectors as well as security. They will be allowed to travel inter-district, ” he said on Thursday . Ismail Sabri said throughout this period, those who have completed their quarantine will be allowed to return to their respective district.Ismail Sabri said the targeted enhanced movement control order enforced in Tawau, Lahad Datu, Kunak and Semporna remains.Under the targeted enhanced MCO, residents will not be allowed to exit these districts and all businesses, except for essential services, will be halted.
