PUTRAJAYA: Felda Tersat and the TNB quarters construction, both located in Kuala Berang, Terengganu, will be placed under enforced movement control order beginning Feb 4, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri YaakobThe Senior Minister said in the case of Felda Tersat, health authorities has carried out 420 screen tests since Feb 1, of which 45 were confirmed positive for Covid-19.
He said the government, following advice from the Health Ministry, has agreed to enforce a 14-day enhanced MCO in the locality until Feb 17. “This will allow health officials to carry out more tests involving 583 residents and to control further infections within the Felda area, ” he said on Wednesday .
On the TNB quarters construction site, Ismail Sabri said that to date, 386 tests for Covid-19 had been done, in which 62 individuals were reported to be positive. “The locality will also be placed under enhanced MCO until Feb 17 so that more screenings can be carried out there, ” he said.
