KUALA LUMPUR: DAP should not interfere with the police investigation into the alleged links between its leaders and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), says opposition chief Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said this when speaking at the Parliament lobby on Friday in response to a statement by DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, who had said that the police have given their assurance that no more DAP leaders will be arrested."The investigation and the arrests must continue even if it involves high-ranking government officials.

The Bera MP said he hoped that the Attorney General will not be biased and would remain fair after investigation paper is handed to the AG's Chambers. It was reported that seven men, including two assemblymen, have been detained for alleged links to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam .

LGE is trying to stop the police to do their work just because the DAP member were involved? Don't think i can withstand the PH government for another 3 years if this continues. 🤦 Harbouring terrorists makes one terrorists as well. Strong denials of involvement of the party & its members tantamount to admitting as party to terrorism when existence of members as terrorists is subsequently proven. DAP should accepts being classified as one when proven.
