THE Inland Revenue Board has applied for its suit against former federal territories minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, seeking RM57.2 million in income tax arrears for the period between 2012 and 2017, to be decided by summary judgment. Deputy high court registrar Idamasliza Maarof set December 12 to hear the application after the management of the case in her chambers today, attended by senior revenue counsel Norhisham Ahmad and Al-Hummidallah Idrus representing the IRB, and Satharuban Sivasubramaniam acting on behalf of Tengku Adnan.
