: Malaysia needs to do more to attract multinational corporations to establish their operations and invest in the country, said the Inland Revenue Board.

Mohd Nizom had announced previously that Malaysia has agreed to implement a global minimum tax of 15 per cent on certain MNCs starting next year. Meanwhile, Deputy Finance Minister I Datuk Mohd Shahar Abdullah said Malaysia has consistently been responsive to current changes in the internationally agreed tax standards.
