Ipoh hospital operating as usual, viral message fake, says director

Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital says a viral message spread on WhatsApp claiming that it is running out of beds is not true. – Facebook pic, May 13, 2021.

A VIRAL message claiming that the situation at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh is worrisome due to an increase in Covid-19 cases is not true, says the hospital’s director, Dr Abdul Malek Osman. He said to the contrary, the situation at the hospital is under control and health services are being rendered as usual.
