IPOH : The family of a 14-year-old girl, who has been reportedly missing since the end of last month, are still looking for her.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said Safiea Dania Muhamad Zakri, from Jalan Intan, Kampung Dato Ahmad Said here, was reported missing since April 24 evening. ACP Abang Zainal Abidin said before her disappearance, the girl had followed her older brother on his motorcycle to work. "Halfway on their journey, their vehicle broke down and her brother told her to take an e-hailing cab to her workplace," he said, adding that the girl did not carry any luggage bag.ACP Abang Zainal said Safiea Dania is believed to have informed her mother that she works in a canteen at a factory in Jelapang."The mother contacted her daughter's friends and was told that the girl was working in an eatery in Kampung Tawas," he said.
