Ipoh cops investigate insulting Covid-19 banners

THE police have opened an investigation into photographs of insulting banners related to the Covid-19 pandemic in two Ipoh locations that went viral yesterday.

Ipoh police chief ACP A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said they were informed of the first banner, which allegedly used the F-word and appeared to be hung from the Raja Permaisuri Bainun’s pedestrian bridge, at 9pm.
