Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Hassan said the arrest was made at a house in Kampung Baru Tambun on Saturday .
“Based on the information we received from the public, we raided the house and arrested the suspect. He is being remanded for four days from Feb 20 to 23 to facilitate investigations,” he said, adding that the police are still looking for his accomplices. "He also has various prior crime records. From his arrest, we have also solved several other related cases reported here," added ACP Yahya, who said that police personnel also found a lorry, forklift and iron weighing 7,310kg.It was reported that four men aged between 42 and 58 were arrested for stealing construction items worth about RM80,000 in Bercham on Feb 15.
