The upcoming International Public Employment Forum is all set to analyse such future issues related to the labour market and public employment, alongside preparing the workforce for the post-Covid-19 employment landscape and offering employment opportunities.
“Now is the most critical time for everyone to play a part in reviving, realigning, and rebuilding the labour market of Malaysia. Her session will also offer better understanding of leadership skills and the competencies employees and employers need to develop that will help them survive the pandemic and support the country.
“Another point which I will be highlighting will be on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the need to redress our unsustainable practices to address planetary health. It is essential for our young people to know what they can do to mitigate some of the world issues we face today, after all, they and their children are the ones inheriting the earth,” she said.
“I will focus on the current labour market, in terms of challenges faced by SMEs and sharing the measures they can take to retain their employees, which are the core of any business, in the rapidly changing workplace environment impacted by digital transformation,” he said.
