Party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said it would open the doors for even ignorant folk to"discipline the police" without understanding the true nature of policing work.
He claimed that abolishing caning in schools had resulted in cases where children became daring enough to violently attack their teachers, and even their own parents.He also said that the freedom to formulate new laws as accorded in the democratic system should not be abused to provide"bullets" for criminals to counter-attack the police.
