The 22kW configuration allows EVs with single-phase 7kW AC onboard charger such as BYD Atto 3, Dolphin, and Seal to take proper advantage of IPC’s EV chargers. As noted inNaturally, the new setting also enables EVs with a three-phase 11kW or 22kW OBC to be charged at a much faster speed than before.Aside from the upgraded setup, IPC is also giving away 2 hours’ worth of free EV charging vouchers daily throughout this week.
On the other hand, IPC has also reduced the required Tack Points to obtain 30 minutes of free charging. Before this, the requirement was 100 points but you can now have it with just 50 points which you can get by charging your EV at IPC chargers for 30 minutes. In case you are confused, here’s an example: if you charge your EV at IPC for 60 minutes, you will receive 100 Tack Points. You can then take them and then redeem another hour of charging directly through the IPC app.
