PKR should uphold “higher standards” and conduct its own investigation into a claim of sexual harassment against one of its MPs, a coalition of women’s rights activists has said. The Joint Action Group for Gender Equality said PKR should not wait for the Sexual Harassment Bill to be enacted but show that political parties will not tolerate such behaviour.
