Plans for the construction of the Ipoh Sentral bus terminal are being worked on by the state government and Perak Transit Bhd.
“Its location is also no longer strategic, making it difficult for the movement of buses. Major roads surrounding the station are also often congested. Mohd Zolkafly added the state government was in the midst of looking for a new site to construct the integrated terminal, which would be able to link with other public transport such as express buses, taxis and train services.He also stressed that the Perak government would make it a priority to improve public transport and infrastructure in rural areas.
