, Instagram started testing these stickers for various users—not just people who have had swipe up privileges. When ‘Swipe Up’ will cease to be a thing on 30 August, all businesses and creators who are either verified or who have met the threshold for follower count will be able to use link stickers.
Link stickers will have creators the ability to choose different styles of stickers, resize them, and then place them anywhere on their Stories for maximum engagement. The game-changer is also that their viewers will now be able to react and reply to posts that have the Link Sticker attached—just like any other Story.
For now, only people who had swipe up privileges will receive the sticker option. However, Instagram is “still evaluating” on whether to roll it out to more users.
