Although pubic hair isn’t necessarily the top priority, their armpits, arms and legs must be smooth.
As hair removal is considered to be a ‘national etiquette’ in Japan, the AV industry likes to portray a clean image when it comes to their Japanese AV actresses. This is to avoid unsightly close-ups captured when the AV stars are filming an adult film. Apparently men might be turn off if they see hair on the lady’s fingers and arms.
