The Fire and Rescue Department were alerted at 1.12pm to the incident at Kampung Borombon hill there.
"The teenager fell and sustained a back injury during her hike.The Fire and Rescue team carried her down in a stretcher for a distance of 400m,” said a Department spokesperson. "The victim was handed over to Health Ministry personnel who then send her to the hospital using an ambulance for further treatment. The operation ended at 2.45pm,"the spokesperson added.
