Menurutnya, rakyat Malaysia disaran terus patuh kepada penjarakan fizikal, kerap cuci tangan dan pakai pelitup muka."Kita jaga kita, kita jaga keluarga kita, kita jaga masyarakat dan negara kita," katanya dalam satu kenyataan. Beliau turut berkongsi perangkaan tiga negara, iaitu Australia, Hong Kong dan Jepun yang mengalami lonjakan drastik kes Covid-19 sejak Jun lalu, walaupun berjaya mencatat penurunan ketara sebelum ini.
Malah, gelombang kedua penularan di negara terbabit menyaksikan peningkatan kes yang lebih tinggi berbanding Mac lalu."Hal ini kerana kanak-kanak tidak pandai membuka pelitup muka kalau perlu," katanya.
