August 21, 2020 7:24 PMJAKARTA: The number of Covid-19 infections in Indonesia is nearing the 150,000 mark, with the country’s tally now at 149,408 cases with 78,877 more still being monitored for the virus.
Based on data published on the Indonesian government official website on Covid-19, today, 2,197 new cases were recorded over the past 24 hours in the republic. Also, from noon yesterday to noon today, 82 fatalities were reported, raising the death toll to 6,500.The Jakarta province now has the highest number of infections with 32,267 cases, followed by East Java while the rest were in 32 other provinces.
