In Singapore, Chinese family rolls out red carpet at airport to welcome grandmother from China (VIDEO)

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 11 — A Chinese family in Singapore spared no effort to welcome their grandmother to the Lion City following the reopening of China's borders recently.television programme found the family of four arriving at Changi airport armed with a board.

Upon seeing the senior citizen, the son-in-law rolled out the red carpet to welcome her before a boy stepped up to hand over the flowers.A Chinese man staying in Singapore, who identified himself by his surname Yan, said the last time he saw his family physically was in 2018 due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
