Pada 18 Julai, Menteri Dalam Negeri Muhyiddin Yassin berkata, program B4G bermula 1 Ogos hingga 31 Dis bertujuan mengurangkan pendatang tanpa izin di negara ini. FMTNews

Tawaran B4G hanya dibuka kepada pendatang tanpa izin yang berada di luar dan tidak ditawarkan kepada mereka yang berada di dalam depot tahanan.

Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Imigresen Khairul Dzaimee Daud berkata, ketika ini pihaknya mempunyai 14 depot di seluruh negara yang mampu menampung kira-kira 10,500 pendatang tanpa izin. “Antara bahaya yang dihadapi ialah tersebar penyakit berjangkit seperti tibi yang dibawa oleh mereka dari negara asal,” katanya.

“Ini kerana pendatang tanpa izin yang berada di dalam depot tahanan telah menjalani hukuman dan akan dihantar pulang ke negara masing-masing,” katanya.
