Residents are fed up with the never-ending problem of illegal rubbish dumping in their neighbourhood.

Old mattresses, sofas, cardboard boxes, broken furniture and household waste are dumped on road corners and on two plots of land that are choked with undergrowth.

“One vacant plot of land is sandwiched between Jalan Mastika and Jalan Nilam while the other is between the back alley parallel to Lorong Dato Amar and Solok Nilam. Jayandra said Klang Municipal Council’s Environmental Services Department had cleared the mess from time to time. Jayandra claimed that irresponsible people around the area were the culprits behind the sporadic dumping of household waste at the intersection of Jalan Dato Amar and Solok Nilam and other rubbish along the residential roads.Resident M. Sivaguru said household waste including broken furniture were dumped at the intersection of Jalan Dato Amar and Solok Nilam almost every week.“The owners of the land did not take reasonable action to keep trespassers out and this has created a nuisance.
