Online event despite the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to present Islamic culture and arts to international tourists as well as for the benefit of locals. Its minister Nancy Shukri said the National Department for Culture and Arts would continue to hold this event through Facebook to ensure that the spirit of Ramadan remained alive.
She added activities such as Quran recitations by popular Malaysian celebrities, talks on Ramadan, a live cooking demonstration and more would take place. “The purpose of this event is also to strengthen the relationship and tolerance between the different races,” she said.Online will be broadcast on April 29 and 30 via the National Department for Culture and Arts’ official Facebook page.Online are the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia and Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department.
