I'm stronger now, says Azmin

"I have come out stronger. God willing, I am stronger and I will continue to serve the people," he said. "I have a beautiful wife and very strong support from her and my children. And we had a small reunion today. I did not even know today was Fathers Day and I was given a pleasant surprise by my wife and children," said Azmin.

The PKR deputy president was commenting on calls by the Otai Reformis group, who said he should take a break from his governmental duties while the investigation on the sex videos is being carried out. Azmin, who was speaking to the media after a Hari Raya event in Gombak Setia here on Sunday , also said the police had not contacted him personally but had reached out to his office.

"Let the authorities investigate without any intervention and any political statement from anybody. I want to ensure the process is professional and transparent," said Azmin. In the past week, clips of a sex video involving two men have gone viral, followed by a confession by Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz that he was one of those in the video. He also claimed that the other person was Azmin but the latter had said that it was a"nefarious plot" to kill his political career.
