I don't want a unity government

COMMENT | What will be this unity government's manifesto? What reforms will it bring?

. And I don't think it's wise to have one. What will be this unity government's manifesto? What reforms will it bring? Coming from different parties of different persuasions, how will they agree on common goals? Secondly, if there's a unity government, will there still be an opposition? Whom will it comprise? And if there's no opposition, who is going to be the check and balance against what the unity government does? Methinks Mahathir wants to head a unity government so that he can be the one to call the shots. This could easily make him authoritarian. Do we want that, given his past track record? Furthermore, who will he choose to form his cabinet? People like Umno's Hishammuddin Hussein who is beset with corruption allegations? Heaven forbid! Former PKR deputy president Azmin Ali? The one they now call"traitor" for allegedly engineering the coup that has caused the country to lose billions of ringgit these past few days? What message would that send out? Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin who played the Judas Iscariot role of pulling Bersatu out of Pakatan Harapan and causing the government to collapse? Other Umno stalwarts that are Mahathir's old pals or lackeys? Plus Mercedes-loving, pious men from PAS... To read full article, Read more: malaysiakini.com

I didn’t vote for unity government. I voted out BN to get rid of crooks who stole money shamelessly. And now I get another crook with no respect to promise! Shame on you chedetofficial Biarkan parti politik wujud, biarkan calon mereka bertanding untuk pilihan raya. malaysianpolitics Malaysia2020 We voted out BN after more than 60yrs of power and choose PH for a very good reason...dont betray the ppl by bringing them back through unity gov scam...

If all the MP’s had any respect for the the people’s vote , all this won’t be happening , isn’t it? We are just used as “pawn”in this political game of thrones. The Rakyat voted a party to rule the country. Unity government doesn't work. 4. Some of them, rather vote for these traitors/thieves instead of the genuine ones because of race. Lack of awareness.

3. I hope you are being sincere. We need good leaders who can lead without discriminating anyone. We need leaders who can shut ppl when they keep referring to certain parties as racist party. BN constantly harping on racial issues and threatening certain race in Malaysia Who cares you want or not..! 2. But you should control your party. How can they just attend meetings with UMNO at Sheraton? How can you allow this as a chairman? Ur blue eyed boy SyedSaddiq was there as well. You managed BN for 22 years. But you failed within 22 months this time around.

1. We did not vote for a “unity” govt. For God Sake don’t make us look like a FOOL chedetofficial. Secondly, ur PPBM won under PH. Not under BN. It is heart wrenching when u just walked out ditching all of us. But I salute u for making a stand not to entertain UMNO. last GE , I vote for PH . If no more PH , I need to vote again . This is the only thing a citizen can do . Citizen choose the government and government choose it's cabinet. Please don't cross the line.

Bersih 2.0: Unity govt is against spirit of democracyPETALING JAYA: A unity government is against the spirit of democracy, says Bersih 2.0. Right. No to unity government. Why must a looser dictate terms to a winner? We should just let PH to continue managing the country with the consent of the King and we the Malaysian rakyat would fully support them. They are rightfully elected by us the rakyat of Malaysia.
