The Huawei P50 Pro is finally coming to Malaysia and it will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. However, it lacks two major features.

was launched in July and is only available in China. Huawei Malaysia has just dropped a teaser confirming that the P50 Pro is finally coming to our shores very soon.

In its home market, the P50 Pro is available in either Kirin 9000 or Snapdragon 888 versions. According to the Malaysian, the Huawei P50 Pro for our local market will be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of colours, it will be offered in either Cocoa Gold or Golden Black.

The P50 Pro features a 6.6″ dual-curved OLED display that pushes 2700×1228 pixels resolution. It has a high 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. In the camera department, it gets a quad-camera setup featuring a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 40MP mono f/1.6 shooter, a 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 64MP telephoto camera that supports up to 100x digital zoom . For selfies, it gets a 13MP front camera that sits in a punch-hole on the screen.
