MELAKA: Companies in many sectors are currently struggling with a labour shortage stemming from the delay in bringing foreign workers to Malaysia, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Transport Minister said this was based on a discussion he had with Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed and Melaka unity, community relationship, human resource and consumer's affair committee chairman Ngwe Hee Sem.

Dr Wee also shared that he attended the opening ceremony of the 76th Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia Annual General Meeting earlier today.
