Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said 70% of the third floor of the three-storey hostel building was burnt in the incident. “The rooms that were on fire housed 43 students, who were all away during the incident,” said Norazam. He said fire engines, water tankers and Emergency Medical Rescue Services vehicles rushed to the scene from the Kota Raja, Port Klang, Kapar, Shah Alam and Subang fire stations.Article type: metered
