PETALING JAYA: A homeless man known as 'Rambo' has been jailed for six months for causing injury to a woman in a robbery attempt.

PETALING JAYA: A homeless man known as"Rambo" has been jailed for six months for causing injury to a woman in a robbery attempt.

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao said the accused was prosecuted under Section 325 of the Penal for causing serious injuries to the victim."The accused, a 40-year-old local, was sentenced by Magistrate P. Sarulatha today," Sinar Harian quoted ACP Vijaya Rao as saying on Thursday . In the May 17 incident, the woman was rendered helpless after being kicked and beaten during a robbery attempt at the Centre Point building in Klang.ACP Vijaya Rao said investigations showed the 30-year-old woman was walking alone when she fell after being kicked by a man in an attempted robbery.

"The suspect acted aggressively during the attempted robbery and punched the victim in the face and head before running away," he said in a statement Thursday . It is believed that the suspect is the same man that was seen in a TikTok video exposing himself on Jalan Chow Kit.
