Foreign nurses will be required to sit for a qualification exam by the Malaysian Nursing Board.

Zaliha said they will be required to sit for a qualification exam by the Malaysian Nursing Board for foreign-trained nurses and are subject to terms and conditions set by the home ministry.“Their service may be extended for up to 12 months , subject to the approval of their temporary practising certificates.
