PETALING JAYA: Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad has apologised for the “nightmare” students are facing, just as they were about to make their way to their respective campuses.

PETALING JAYA: Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad has apologised for the “nightmare” students are facing, just as they were about to make their way to their respective campuses.

Dr Noraini said that the ministry had immediately consulted the management of higher education institutions, the National Security Council and the Health Ministry after seeing an unexpected rise in Covid-19 cases. “I hope the institutions can be fair, considerate and reasonable in managing all matters arising from this delay , ” she added.

As for those who are still at home, she said they should postpone their journey to their higher learning institutions.Upset students took to Twitter to voice their dissatisfaction yesterday when the ministry suggested higher learning institutions move the registration for the new semester, online.

This shows you're indeed incompetent to helm KPT. Better step aside and resign. Let a more qualified ones to take over. This could regain some confidence and also look for better future in higher education industry in our beloved country. With just a late apology won't be enough
