LARUT: Sebanyak 42 buah tadika di negeri ini ditutup berikutan peningkatan kes penyakit kaki, tangan dan mulut pada minggu epidemiologi ke-19 antara 8 hingga 14 Mei lalu.
“Minggu lepas, kenaikan kes HFMD ialah 10 peratus dan minggu ini naik 15 peratus daripada biasa. Sehingga masalah ini dapat ditangani, semua tadika ini akan ditutup operasinya sementara.Beliau ditemui pemberita pada majlis sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri Menteri Dalam Negeri, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin bersama Perikatan Nasional Larut di Dewan Majlis Daerah Selama, di sini hari ini.
Menurutnya, pihaknya berharap orang ramai meneruskan amalan langkah berjaga-jaga daripada dijangkiti penyakit itu.
