Baginda turut dilaporkan menerima maklumat berserta beberapa gambar mengenai satu aktiviti pemburuan haram berskala besar. Ketua Polis Johor Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, dilaporkan berkata dalam dua operasi itu enam suspek termasuk pemburu haram yang berusia antara 33 hingga 53 tahun berjaya ditahan selain dua senapang buatan sendiri dan selaras senapang patah turut dirampas.
Sementara itu, Sultan Ibrahim bertitah, pemburu haram terbabit di negeri ini juga disyaki menjual daging haiwan eksotik kepada restoran.
