“Sungai Ichat ini satu sumber air yang diperlukan oleh kawasan persekitaran ini. Kalau itu diracuni, mungkin tiada lagi sumber lain. Al-Sultan Abdullah juga menitahkan semua pihak supaya bekerjasama antara satu sama lain dengan mengetepikan perbezaan fahaman politik dalam memastikan usaha mengatasi serta menghapuskan pencerobohan tanah di sekitar Cameron Highlands khususnya Sungai Ichat berhasil.
Kerajaan negeri Pahang telah mengemukakan rayuan kepada Mahkamah Tinggi Kuantan pada 11 April lepas untuk membatalkan injunksi yang dibuat 23 peneroka tanah di Cameron Highlands bagi penangguhan penguatkasaan.
