SABAH Chief Minister Hajiji Noor had directed state police to heighten security surveillance in the run-up to the presidential election in neighbouring Philippines. Hajiji said he wants police to monitor the situation because the certain Philippine quarters’ claim over Sabah would be a hot topic used by the presidential candidates to garner support from voters.
