Heavy traffic expected on major highways today

The Malaysian Highway Authority warns drivers to expect long delays if they plan to use major highways after the Chinese New Year break. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 24, 2023.

A Malaysian Highway Authority spokesman said the North-South Expressway is expected to be congested from Gopeng to Tapah, Sungkai to Slim River and Pedas Linggi to Port Dickson. “The public is advised to plan journeys and ensure their Touch ‘n Go balance is sufficient to avoid any delays at toll plazas,” the spokesman said.
