According to the National Health & Morbidity Survey 2019, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in Malaysia.World Heart Day is created by theannually on Sept 29 with the aim to “drive action to educate people by controlling risk factors such as tobacco use, unhealthy diet and physical inactivity.”

Leading up to the annual celebration and to educate the nation on heart health, Watsons together with Star Media Group will hold a webinar titledIn this webinar, you would be able to learn how to take charge by breaking behavioural risk factors that could lead to CVD, like eating healthy, regular exercise and heart-healthy supplements.

This live webinar would feature National Heart Institiute cardiologist and medicine specialist Dr Aslannif Roslan as speaker and Watsons pharmacist Nor Fadhilah Mohammad – who has served in hospitals like Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Columbia Asia Hospital – as moderator. He is also heavily involved in research with four papers as lead author and 10 papers as co-author and considers himself familiar with latest advances in echocardiography such as strain and 3D-imaging – making him the right speaker for the upcoming webinar focusing on the heart.Arming yourself with the right know-how is crucial and could save you and your loved ones from CVD..
