Health Ministry to save RM200 million with training institutes integration

Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad says 19 health institutes will be amalgamated in phases, with the first nine to be complete within the next year. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, October 5, 2019.

THE Ministry of Health can save up to RM200 million in operating costs when it integrates its training institutes, Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said today. According to the minister, the rationalisation would improve operating efficiency, without reducing intake of students.
