Health Ministry detects 19 Covid-19 variant cases in 12 days

THE Health Ministry has reported 19 people contracting a Covid-19 variant of concern from May 24 to date, said director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. According to Noor Hisham, said there were four Delta variant cases – previously known as the Indian variant – and 15 Beta cases, formerly known as the South African variant.
