Health Ministry: Covid-19 claims 77 more lives in Malaysia, 875 now in ICU

KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 — Another 77 people died from Covid-19 around the country today, raising the cumulative fatality rate to 4,554 since the outbreak of the disease in Malaysia last year.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 875 Covid-19 patients have been warded in intensive care units , adding that 445 needed ventilators.
