PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia continues to record single digits in its daily Covid-19 cases for the fourth day running, with only six latest infections reported.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said five of the six new infections were import cases, which meant the number of local transmission cases among Malaysians was fewer than five for six consecutive days.

“No Covid-19 deaths have been reported in the past 12 days. The number of active and infective Covid-19 cases has been steadily decreasing daily. Dr Noor Hisham also said that patients who had recovered from Covid-19 would have to go through follow-up treatment every three months, as there was no evidence to suggest the presence of antibodies could serve as an “immunity passport”.
