Ketua Polis Daerah Kangar, Superintendan Wari Kiew berkata, suspek berusia 17 tahun yang juga pelajar sebuah kolej ditahan pada 5 pagi sebaik pihaknya menerima maklumat.
Menurutnya, sebelum itu rakaman video suspek mengeluarkan kenyataan jelik kepada anggota polis sedang melakukan rondaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan tular di media sosial. “Remaja itu menularkan video berkenaan pada 3 petang kelmarin di sebuah kumpulan sembang WhatsApp sebelum ia menjadi tular. “Kesalahan dilakukan suspek sangat serius kerana dia turut mengeluarkan kata-kata kesat kepada anggota polis yang membuat pengumuman PKP di kawasan rumahnya,” katanya pada sidang media di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kangar, hari ini.Katanya, kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 509 dan Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998.
