PETALING JAYA: National Under-22 football striker Hadi Fayyadh Abdul Razak may not be away in Japan but his heart is with the less fortunate in the country.

The youngster has joined hands with Yakult Sdn Bhd to contribute RM60,000 to ease the burden of cancer-stricken children at the UKM Medical Centre through the Cancer Associates and Kindred Network .

“Although I’m not in Malaysia, the children are always in my heart. I have always been involved in Yakult Malaysia’s children programmes. I previously was involved with a nationwide football clinic, ” said the lanky striker “I’ll be in Japan for this year’s Hari Raya and only return at the end of the year. I will surely miss my family but that’s part and parcel of being a professional footballer.”
