Fitness enthusiasts in Penang have returned to gyms with strict new rulings in place.

Some gym operators have made it compulsory for members to use either face masks or face shields as protection against the Covid-19 virus.

“I open all the windows for better ventilation and sanitise the premises three times a day,” said Jimmy Lye, who is the owner of World Fitness Gym. “My gym is not air-conditioned, as such I open all the windows to ensure proper ventilation,” he said.
