: A group of Mexican and American citizens travelling in vehicles in northern Mexico was attacked by armed civilians yesterday, leaving at least three Mexican passengers injured, local authorities said.

“The caravan was made up of 20 people, 16 nationals and four Americans who were travelling in two trucks,” reported INM, which condemned the attack.INM said that three Mexican citizens were wounded: a woman who received two gunshot wounds to the back, a 62-year-old man who was shot in the leg, and a 70-year-old man whose finger was hit by a bullet.
