KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 — Deputy Education Minister Lim Hui Ying today expressed pride in her father Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang over him being awarded with the “Tan Sri” title.
“Your extraordinary performance and contributions to the country’s world of politics have been proven with the award of the ‘Tan Sri’ title from the Yang Di-Pertuan Agung,” she said. Her brother, DAP national chairman Lim Guan Eng, shared their father’s post thanking everyone for their wishes, with the comment: “Proud of you Dad!”was among 839 individuals who were conferred federal awards, honours and medals for 2023 in conjunction with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah’s official birthday today.
